Welcome to the toby.systems blog – it is great to have you here!
It’s a technical Blog based around Virtualization. The Blog will be used as a place to store useful information and hopefully in the future as well as a place where other people can find some useful information on Virtualization. Mainly I will focus on VMware, Nutanix and Veeam, but hopefully also on some Hardware and other vendor focused stuff.
I’m Tobias Paschek, 35 from Austria. I’m currently working as an Solutions Archtitect and Trainer at AVNET Technology Solutions Austria. Prior to that I worked for Bull GmbH (an ATOS Company) as a Senior System Consultant. I’ve been working in IT for 16 years started with Client Operations then move forward to the Backend Services and since 10 yeas I’m focusing on virtualization. Starting from typical Field Engineering to System Engineering over the years I also gained experience in planning and designing Enterprise Environments. Since virtualization always relies on Storage, Network and Compute, I have a excellent knowledge of the Environment Requirements and a good knowledge on some vendors which I was in contact related to my Company (ex. HPE, NetApp, EMC, IBM, DataCore and Dell)
I have successfully passed a wide range of VMware, Citrix and Microsoft certifications like VCI, VCIX-NV/DVC, VCAP-DCA/DCD, VCP-DCV/DTM/Cloud, CCA, CCAA, CCEE, CCE-V, CCE-N, , MCSE-Private Cloud, MCSA-2012/2016 and Veeam VMCE/VMCT, CCNP
